About our team

We are a remote-first team that sits across Europe and North America and come together once a month in-person for 3 days and over longer offsites twice a year.

The people, finance and ops team is not an overhead team, we're commercially oriented and are delivering products where poolside is our customer and our team are our users.

On the front-end, we are very conscious of the UX/UI - we aim to create processes and select tools that are easy to use and will boost productivity and collaboration.

On the back-end, we are a highly knowledgeable team who prioritizes automation and builds for scalability. We will improve and update our processes, tools and materials as we grow, taking into account the team's ongoing feedback and data.

About the role

Our People team is focused on building the world's best team and plays an integral role in the growth of poolside. This person will ensure we are growing at the right pace and direction.

Your mission

Being intentional at building the world's best team - by leveraging different sources of talent to identify, attract and onboard every poolsider. You'll have a first row seat at building the most impressive R&D and Production teams in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the hiring process from A-Z, from building a strong talent acquisition strategy, through ensuring candidates have an excellent hiring experience up to onboarding
  • Be a face for poolside in different forums, communities and contexts
  • Ensure that all hiring processes are compliant with local regulations as well as inclusive and fair across the board
  • Build trust relationships with different stakeholders, from interviewers to external partners
  • Make informed data-driven decisions and identify opportunities to improve our processes and push the company forward

Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Previous experience hiring for highly technical product and engineering teams
  • Previous experience hiring across multiple locations and familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements across the board
  • Previous experience building recruitment related reports
  • Experience working in a hybrid setting and comfortable working remotely for most of the time
